Tropical Islands is a huge indoor amusement park located in Germany, in the municipality of Halbe in Brandenburg, about 60 kilometers south of the center of Berlin.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It opened its doors in December 2004. It was built on the territory of the former Aerium airship hangar, which is the largest self-supporting hall in the world. The dimensions of the building are 360 meters long, 210 meters wide and 107 meters high. The room area is 66,000 km2, and the volume is about 5.5 million m3.<\/p>\n

The Tropical Islands Amusement Park maintains a constant air temperature of +26 \u00b0C and humidity at 64%.<\/p>\n

The Tropical Islands complex is divided into several thematic zones:\u00a0<\/p>\n

A tropical village with original buildings in the style of Southeast Asia (Thailand, Bali, Borneo and Samoa).<\/p>\n

Tropical forest<\/i> \u2014 more than 50,000 plants grow here, about 600 species.<\/p>\n

South Sea<\/i> \u2014 there is a 140-meter swimming pool with an area of about 4,400 m2 and a maximum depth of 1.35 m, as well as a long 200-meter sandy beach with many sun beds and umbrellas. The water temperature in the pool is 28 \u00b0C.<\/p>\n

Bali Lagoon<\/i> \u2014 more than 1,200 square meters of pools of variable depth, with a water temperature of 32 \u00b0C, with Jacuzzi, fountains and waterfalls.<\/p>\n

There is also a Spa center with several saunas, a steam grotto and a cold pool (covering an area of about 10,000 m2), as well as water slides, attractions and a mini golf course.\u00a0
They did not forget about the children in the park, for them on an area of 4000 square meters. There is a huge children’s area.<\/p>\n

The Tropical Islands Recreation and Entertainment Complex is open 24 hours a day and all year round. It can accommodate up to 6,000 visitors per day.<\/p>\n
