Thus, the registration of an invitation to the Russian Federation for a foreign citizen, on the basis of which a visa is issued, has risen in price to 960 rubles.The fee for obtaining a residence permit will increase from 5 to 6 thousand rubles from July 1. The fee for registration of a foreign citizen at the place of residence in the Russian Federation will be 420 rubles instead of the previous 350, and for issuing a temporary residence permit to a foreign citizen – 1920 rubles instead of 1600. In November 2023, the State Duma adopted a law on the indexation of 20% of the state fee for registration of a new type of passport and some other documents. Initially, it was assumed that the fee would increase from January 1, 2023, but since the bill was adopted at the end of the year, it was decided to postpone the effective date to July 1, 2024.
