Now citizens of Norway, Greece, Denmark, Cyprus and Slovenia can enter China without a visa for up to 15 days. It is important to note that in response, European (Schengen) countries do not cancel the visa regime for Chinese citizens. Earlier, China introduced a visa-free travel regime for up to 15 days for citizens of Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Switzerland, it is valid until the end of 2025. No such measures are being introduced for Russian citizens, although politicians often talk about strategic partnership between the countries. Visa cancellation is not expected.
