Incekum is a cozy little beach in the bay, the name of which means “fine sand”. It is located in the Aydıncık Nature Park, in the vicinity of the village of Aydıncık, at a distance of about 150 km from the center of Mersin and about 70 km from Silifke.
The water here has fine golden sand, soft and pleasant underfoot, dense, which makes it comfortable for both walking and children. A little further from the water, the beach is sandy and pebbly.
- The entrance to the water is smooth — safe even for children and beginners, the sea is slowly deepening.
- The water is clear and turquoise, especially beautiful in the windless morning hours.
- Surroundings: the pine forest at the edge of the beach and the mountainous landscape around create a cozy and secluded feeling.
- A popular place for camping and picnicking enthusiasts: there are picnic areas near the beach, plenty of space for tents or cars.
