Tisan is a summer beach resort located at the isthmus connecting the Tisan Peninsula and the Turkish mainland, 120 kilometers from the center of Mersin.

To get to Tisan, you need to overcome a steep serpentine. It offers a beautiful view of the isthmus and the beaches.

The isthmus itself is about 250 meters wide, with beaches on both sides. The main beach is almost 500 meters long. There is a basic infrastructure, sun beds and umbrellas, a cafe, as well as a small yacht marina. There is a large free parking nearby.
The main beach is covered from the sea by an island, so there are almost no waves here. The water is perfectly clean, but the entrance to the sea is rocky. Without special shoes, we will be very uncomfortable here, as you can slip on rocks in the water. There are not pebbles, but stones – medium and large.

Therefore, they explained to us that they are intended only for residents of neighboring residential complexes, they are not rented to tourists. This is indicated by this sign:

The second beach is less popular, more like a wild one. They did not specify whether they rent sunbeds there, since there was no desire to swim there. It was windy, there were waves, and garbage was floating in the water.

In general, if you deal with the rental of sunbeds on the main beach, for example by renting a house here, then it is a good place for a beach holiday. I will come here one more time, and I will add information about this to my story.
